Mrs Ethelston's Sports Day

Sports Day - By Cerys and Bella in Swifts

On Wednesday 25th June it was Sports Day. We had flat races, class races and a rleay. Dragons won but we all enjoyed our ice lollies at the end.

Miss Hodder would like to thank all that helped with Sports Day this year, it was a fantastic day, enjoyed by all. Special thanks go to Yohan for capturing the day with his camera (please see the wonderful pictures attached) and to Katherine, Karen, Teresa, Malcolm and Sarah for their help on the day,

Performance of Little Princess

The children at St. Andrew's Primary were joined by the Key Stage 2 children from Mrs Ethelston's this week to enjoy a performance of the Little Princess.  After the performance the Year 6 children from both schools took part in a workshop.  The rest of the children joined together to carry out tasks to find out information about each other.

In the afternoon the children took part in various sporting activities.

Mrs Ethelston's New Logo

Change of Logo

We are very excited about our new logo! Thank you for your help on choosing this. An overwhelming majority voted for option 3. Governors have agreed to proceed with the new logo from 1st September 2013. It will be used on all correspondence as much as possible, however school uniform will not change until April 2014 as stock has already been purchased bearing the previous logo. When the new logo is introduced, there will be a change over period when either logo will be acceptable. This will enable parents to continue with old uniform until new items are purchased.
