On Monday 26th June, Spruce and Rowan classes went to @Bristol Science Museum to support their learning of the science curriculum. They had a fabulous day and were able to learn more about friction, light, sound, human biology, plants and much more besides.
A highlight of the day was a visit to the laboratory where they took part in a workshop recreating the water cycle through heating and cooling water in its three states of matter.
After creating animations, making on-line post cards and meeting a robot who made recipes for the children, they were able to use their wristbands to access their work at home.
Toby H exclaimed, “It was really cool! I liked the water cycle because we got to use water and learnt that clouds are liquid and not gas.”
Ewan was impressed by the technology, “I really enjoyed looking at all the exhibits such as the clever screen that captures your body’s movement and copied it onto the screen.”
A great day was had by all!
