Welcome to the Axminster Early Years Centre

Welcome to the Axminster Early Years Centre

Welcome to the Axminster Early Years Centre website.

Axminster Early Years opened on September 3rd 2015 and is based at Axminster Community Primary Academy.

Rainbow and Stepping Stones Pre-schools have merged and become part of the Acorn Multi Academy Trust. The Centre has moved into the main school building, and the builders have been busy over the summer holidays creating a much more open space and learning environment. The staff have been working hard alongside the new Reception Class teacher at Axminster Primary to create a stimulating learning environment linked to the Reception Class and school. Along with the stunning outdoor area the children now have access to a wide range of dedicated areas; Role play, wet play and a reading corner to name a few.

The Centre will be working closely with Mrs Andrea Rice, Executive Headteacher of the Academy, who is a National Leader of Education specialising in Early Years. This will ensure that the provision for children meets the highest standards possible and enables all the children who attend the Centre to have the best possible start to their education.

Our new website is currently being developed, in the meantime we will be using the main school website to host key information.
