Welcome to the Early Years Centre

Welcome to the Early Years Centre

Welcome to St Andrew’s Early Years Centre.  We provide high quality learning experiences for our youngest children, from age 2, in purpose built accommodation as part of the Primary School. The team is led by an Early Years teacher, supported by other highly qualified staff. We have excellent facilities both inside and out, to enable to children to flourish in a caring and supportive environment where each child’s needs are developed.

The Early Years Centre is able to access all of the facilities and be managed by the school to ensure a smooth and continous transition into school life.

We currently have vacancies for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. Funding is available for 15 hours a week for all 3 and 4 year olds (starting the term after your child's 3rd birthday). Some funding is available for 2 year olds who meet certain criteria. Please contact the office for more information.

Due to high demand, we strongly advise that parents visit the Early Years Centre and register before their child turns two. This will help to ensure that we can offer your child the sessions you would prefer by allowing us to plan ahead for the statutory staffing requirements.

Please come and have a look at our fantastic facilities to see for yourself!  Click here to arrange a visit or ring 01460 220534. For a copy of our prospectus please click on the information section.

Having Fun Making Tracks

Having Fun Making Tracks

The children had fun this week riding the bikes through water and making tracks on the playground.  They also used vehicles to paint tracks in different colours. Click on heading to see more photos.

Early Years Centre Website

Early Years Centre Website

This half term sees the launch of the brand new Early Years Centre Website.  Styled in a similar but subtely different way to Saint Andrew's, and sporting a whole new logo, the website links closely with the others in the Federation.  But it also has its own identity and gives a place where children, staff and classes can showcase their work.

The website still has some content and information to add but we are going to be working hard on this in the upcoming weeks.  If anyone has ideas about content that would be nice to include, please feel free to contact the Early Years Centre using the online contact form.
