Children in Need Bake-Off

Children in Need Bake-Off

Children at Marshwood came to school in non-uniform and held their very own 'Bake-off' to help raise money for Children in Need. Children were asked to produce their own cakes, and the school was inundated with entries, with the children competing to win a cuddly Pudsey bear and the title of 'Star-Baker'. The almost impossible task of judging the winner went to Mr Owen, who acted as Paul Hollywood, and Ms "Mary Berry' Pooley as they judged each entry on the artistic design and quality of the bake. The winning bakers were Noa and Maru-Jane, for their 3D Pudsey cake, with several other bakers commended for their entries. At the end of the day the school council went to work, selling all the entries in the playground, and an unbelievable  £305 was raised in total. Well done everyone and thank you!
