Parents are always welcome in school. We want you to be involved in the life of the school and the education of your child. We hope you will feel that the atmosphere in our school is welcoming and that you can always approach us.
Helping in School and at home
We welcome parental help in school. If you would like to help, either regularly, or on an occasional basis, please contact the school and we will arrange for a DBS check to be completed.
You might help with reading, computers, gardening, art activities, going on educational visits, for example. We also encourage parents to use their skills in extra curricular activities. If you can help with this, please let us know.
Support and help from parents is an essential part of a child’s education. It can have a significant impact on a child’s progress. Please encourage your children to complete their homework and bring it to school on time. We hope you will share books with your child and help them develop a love of books and reading that will bring life-long pleasure.
