What a Knight!

What a Knight!

The Key Stage 2 production based (very loosely) on the Camelot stories has been a great success with some fantastic comic performances from the children in Herons and Swallows.  Many thanks to all the parent helpers who support us in producing a show like this and also the long hours put in by the teaching staff to make it such a success.  However, most of all,  a well done to all the children who were fantastic singers, dancers and actors learning large amounts of lines in some cases.  We have a huge wealth of talent here at Mrs Ethelston’s!

The Swallows and Herons production has been a smashing hit so far!  The show, ‘Oh What a Knight’ is partly based around Camelot with the main character, Watt and also includes an extremely scruffy princess, Alice.   Do not be fooled by the name, she is possibly the messiest, grubbiest and a strangely kind-hearted girl you with ever meet.
The main storyline is strangely twisted, however as with a pantomime has several goodies followed by the baddie.  In this, the villainous villain has a frightful name …. the Black Knight!  He has a devious plan; to capture the prissy princesses, leaving only one expelled squire who can save her as the knights were pathetic and somehow turned into animals.
But in the end, your jaw will have hit the floor in astonishment, amazed in what you had just witnessed.
